Bringing experience to the table

Katie Peddie has almost 20 years’ experience in Local Government policy in a number of different fields including Adult Services, Children’s Services and Democratic Services.

In 2004 she completed her MBA with a dissertation on the performance management of Overview and Scrutiny, findings of which were used by the I&DeA. This experience is brought to bear in the development of any policies and procedures in constructively challenging the status quo.

Accreditation as a Prince 2 Practitioner in 2008 has underpinned Katie's approach to project management although a modified approach can be used where necessary.

Expertise in policy and governance arrangements has led to service improvements for all of the authorities worked with.

Working as an Associate for Enable East gave the experience of working across local authority and Health disciplines in project management roles.
